Green, black, or white, tea comes in an array of colors! I’m a tea lover, so I drink just about all of them. The good thing with tea is that it’s not only delicious, it’s also nutritious. I know it sounds cliché, but it is!

Whether it’s to help relieve stress or for a boost of energy, teas have the capabilities to do a lot for your health, depending on which type you choose to drink.

Here is a chart that discusses the health benefits of various teas:

I usually drink my teas without any added sugars or sweeteners, but if you’d like to add some sweetness to your cup, you also have some healthy alternatives to sugar. But like with anything, don’t overdo it or you could lose some of the health benefits due to all the added sweetness.

One of the healthiest alternatives to sugar is honey, especially raw honey. Raw honey costs a little more, but its health benefits are worth the money.

This is quick chart showing the top health benefits of raw honey versus regular honey:

And if you don’t like honey, you have other alternatives such as stevia, coconut sugar, and maple syrup, just to name a few.

So whether you like it hot or cold, light or dark, or sweet or not, enjoy your tea and the fact it’s both good and good for you!
